Santa Barbara photographer Diana Healey's image of Paris is featured on the cover of the international bestselling novel Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay.

As the U.S. premiere of the new film Sarah's Key based on the novel opens the 26th Santa Barbara International Film Festival this year on Jan. 27th, 2011 at the Arlington Theater, local photographer Diana Healey is enjoying the fun coincidence. "It's an honor that my image of Luxembourg Gardens in Paris is featured in the cover graphics of the charming and emotional novel. The Paris image is a part of my "Soft Landscape" fine art series shot with the popular medium-format Diana camera, using traditional film and hand-made prints. The soft focus and nostalgic quality of the images from this series lend themselves well for stories like this one. I'm thrilled the new film Sarah's Key will enjoy its U.S. debut in my home town."

Diana Healey is a beauty, lifestyle, and travel photographer based in Santa Barbara, CA. Specializing in luminous, airy health & beauty, spa & product imagery, her commercial work is used consistently for advertisements, magazines, brochures, online editorial, music and book covers, etc. She is represented by Getty Images for stock imagery licensing and distribution worldwide.

In addition, Diana’s fine art landscape prints are exhibited and sold by Caruso Woods Fine Art Gallery in Santa Barbara. With the success of the December 2006 show and critical acclaim from the Santa Barbara News-Press, this unique landscape work now has a growing list of enthusiastic private collectors. Recent projects include “Soft Landscapes” of Santa Barbara County & the Central Coast of California, Santa Ynez Valley, Mendocino, the Eastern Sierras, Oregon, San Juan Islands, Maui, Vermont, New York City, the Adirondacks, Paris, Scotland, and Western Ireland.
